Micheline

Micheline Halpin

Landscape Designer and Owner

Micheline has lived in Bozeman since 1990 and is co-owner of Greenspace Landscaping, Inc. She has a degree in English literature from Syracuse University and a degree in Landscape Design and Horticulture from Montana State University. Her expertise includes Landscape Design for commercial and residential projects, Project Management and Estimating. Greenspace has grown rapidly since its beginning in 1994 and Micheline’s role in the company has developed into overseeing daily operations of the business. Her expertise in business and personnel management has been integral to the success of Greenspace. She is proud of Greenspace and its commitment to providing quality service and beautiful outdoor living spaces. Prior to moving to Bozeman, Micheline grew up in Bermuda, Guyana, Kenya and England where she kindled her passion for travel and culture. Micheline is an active participant in community organizations and loves to recreate in Montana’s natural beauty. She enjoys visiting undiscovered parts of the world, gardening (of course), cross country skiing and has an insatiable appetite for reading.

Bill Halpin

Bill has been in the landscaping industry for 30 years. He owned and operated a lawn and landscape business while growing up on Long Island, New York and has used all of his experience to build Greenspace Landscaping, Inc. Bill has a degree in Fisheries Biology from the Environmental School of Forestry in Syracuse, New York. He brings a wealth of knowledge to Greenspace concentrating his time in Commercial bidding, Hardscape Design and Project Management. His specialty is working with natural stone to create amazing patios, walls, and living spaces. Although he spends a lot of time managing the company, he also loves to be hands on and be involved with the installation part of projects. Bill also owns an architectural salvage business where he reclaims items such as granite, old barns, stone foundations, gates, old farm equipment and many other items that he incorporates into the landscapes he builds or sells to the public. He uses these reclaimed materials in creative ways to enhance the unique qualities of many Greenspace Projects. He spends his holidays exploring different parts of the world and fly fishing the flats.

Brandon Eris

Brandon Eris brings his many years of green industry experience to the position of General Manager of Greenspace Landscaping. He has been with the firm since 2015 and his priority is to develop his team to be proud of their work and strive to be their best. This positively impacts our customers experience by exceeding customer expectations and providing quality and detail oriented work. His day is complete when he has supported all the Greenspace departments with a helping hand and laughter. He has completed the Master Gardener course at MSU and the hardscape course at ICPI. On his free time he enjoys fishing, football, hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with his wife and two children.

Erin moved to Bozeman in 2012 to pursue a double degree from MSU in Sustainable Crop Production and Landscape Design with a minor in Environmental Horticulture. She is a lover of the outdoors and strives to use native plants and elements that not only reflect the natural beauty of the space around us, but also offer benefit to the local pollinators and habitat. Combined with her horticultural knowledge, interest in art and desire for sustainability, she is able to create harmonized and resilient designs. Erin was recently appointed to the Design Review Board for the city of Bozeman where she is able to contribute her knowledge to the development of our community. In her free time, Erin is involved in a wide variety of activities that make Montana special. She enjoys snowboarding, kayaking, backpacking, riding horses, gardening, art, music, cooking and local foods.

Kaylee Schroeder moved to Bozeman to attend Montana State University where she pursued a finance degree. During her school years she joined the Greenspace garden team and worked three seasons as a Garden Foreman. After graduating from MSU and working in banking for three years, Kaylee decided to return to Greenspace as the Garden Services Manager. Her experience in gardens management and her business knowledge brings a dynamic talent to the firm. She enjoys the peace and ability to be outside that gardening brings. In her free time you can find her skiing, camping, hiking and mountain biking.

Dante

Dante Spado

Shop Manager

Dante Spado Dante grew up outside of Helena and moved to bozeman in 2014. He joined Greenspace as the Shop Manager in 2021. Dante takes care of all of the equipment, trucks and nursery yard that makes the whole operation at Greenspace function. He enjoys the challenge of getting the crews the equipment and tools they need to successfully complete their jobs. During off hours, he enjoy exploring the back country on a dualsport motorcycle, long road trips and scenic views from behind a windshield, and has recently found a passion for indoor cactus gardening.

Esther

Esther

Esther is the boss. Calm, cool and collected, she secretly runs the show at Greenspace with wisdom and grace. She has a weak spot for any type of treat and is always ready for an adventure, especially cross country skiing! We call her our velcro dog as she loves sticking as close to us as she can. Her silky peppered fur is luxurious and she knows it, belly rubs are her favorite!

Mavis

Mavis seems to get away with just about anything! Those stunning sapphire blue eyes compliments Montana's Big Sky. Mavis has an enormous amount of energy and likes to herd the crew and run huge circular routes on the trail. She is a lover and loves to pose for majestic photos at mountains, lakes and vistas. Her favorite part of the day…..exercising in the great Montana outdoors where every day is a beautiful day!

Zippy

Zippy runs the office from a dog bed on the desk overlooking the rabbits outside the window. Sometimes she gets in what we call the Zip Zone and runs laps around the house or garden in a blissful state of mind. The Zipster is so full of energy and has a heart of gold, always by our side ensuring everyone feels her love. Her favorite landscapes are grassland prairies where she loves to hop over the seedheads. We adopted her after she had been at two shelters and two homes and she is now at her forever home!
